eDIVE is an extensible VR software platform for developing collaborative immersive educational experiences. Built in Unity and created as part of the EduInCIVE project, it empowers developers to design and deliver multi-user VR learning scenarios with custom features for teachers, students, and researchers.

eDIVE is a collaborative VR platform focused on education and research, developed as part of the EduInCIVE research project. As the lead developer and system architect, I was responsible for the design and implementation of the whole platform including its infrastructure, networking, user experience, and extensibility.

eDIVE enables simplified creation of custom multi-user educational VR scenarios for developers. Its modular architecture, built on Unity, supports a wide range of learning experiences. I also supervised students who contributed new features such as VR drawing and audio tools.

The platform was created in close coordination with educators and psychologists, making it highly adaptable and relevant for research in VR-based collaboration, digital education, and UX studies. Its capabilities and impact are documented in this research paper that I wrote as part of my PhD.
