A collection of Bachelor's and Master's theses I have supervised at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, strongly tied to my core research in collaborative VR, serious gaming, and clinical assessment tools.
Throughout my academic career at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, I have had the privilege of supervising and consulting on 16 student theses. I found supervising students to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my academic journey. Although mentoring is not at all expected or required of PhD students, I voluntarily took on these projects because I genuinely enjoyed guiding emerging researchers, sharing my technical frameworks, and watching their innovative ideas come to life.
Many of these theses directly extend or integrate with my primary research platforms, helping to test new modules, UX paradigms, and educational scenarios.
These projects are closely tied to the Invenio VR Stress Tool, focusing on creating deterministic, standardized immersive environments to measure cognitive load, spatial orientation, and collaborative skills.
These theses expand upon the modular architecture of the eDIVE platform and the spatial recording concepts established in VRdeo, addressing specific UX and networking challenges in collaborative immersive spaces.
These projects push the boundaries of serious gaming, leveraging popular platforms like Minecraft to scale educational engagement. Many of these directly tie into initiatives like Emcify, EbAcraft, and Craft-My-Play.
